Romulus

by | Sep 11, 2023

Cosimo Molino, aka Romulus, as you might have guessed if you know your Roman history, was one half of a duo with fellow Italian Strongman “Remus” Gaiacomo Zaffarina.

Romulus, also sometimes billed as “The Sicilian Hercules,” stood only 5’3″ and weighed 167 pounds but among his many impressive feats were a 1-arm push with a 109 lb. dumbbell for 22 repetitions, which he performed in 1892.
