Cyrill Wetasa — who was often better known as simply “Wetasa” — was originally from Vienna and gave up his former trade as a butcher to become a professional strongman and wrestler, circa the late 1890’s. Wetasa’s wrestling statistics are spotty, but he did come in second to Kara Ahmed in the 1898 Tournament de Paris. You’ll find some brief mentions of Wetasa in The Way to Live by George Hackenschmidt.” Wetasa could bent-press 211 lbs.
